Easy steps to follow:
1) Register BeaconGo or any hardware beacon device for iBeacon with this app
2) Key-ring your keys and the beacon
3) Track the distance between you and the keys
4) You get notified when your keys are no longer in range (also good for anti-theft alert)
5) You get notified again when your keys are in range.
